Storyteller Visits Campus

Durham Intermediate School language arts students enjoyed a special treat this week. Storyteller De Cee Cornish visited the DIS library and entertained the fifth and sixth grade students. Cornish captivated the students with histrorical stories that had them laughing and listening intently.

Cornish was back “by popular demand” after entertaining the students at DIS last year. The Fort Worth resident performs for students from Pre-K to high school and also works with at-risk children.
