Dragon Speech, Debate Team Excels

The Dragon Speech and Debate team began the new season this weekend by attending the Byron Nelson High School state qualifying meet.  The following members placed for Carroll ISD:

ARVND VENKATARAMAN – 1st in Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking

KEVIN O’BRIEN – 6th in Foreign Extemporaneous Speaking and 7th in Congressional Debate

NICK LOWRIMORE – 5th in U.S, Extemporaneous Speaking

TIM DOMINGUEZ – 5th in U. S. Extemporaneous Speaking

MEGAN SCHIPPMAN – 6th in Congressiona Debate

WILL COOK – 5th in Congressional Debate

DANIELLA COHEN – Congressional Debate Finalist

ALI PRASLA – Congressional Debate Finalist

NATHAN PISIK – Congressional Debate Finalist

LYDIA FRANCIS – Original Oratory – Semi-finalist

ADAM MARSHALL – Duo Interpretation and Dramatic Semi-finalist

SEAN ARMAS – Duo Interpretation and Dramatic Semi-finalist
