Dragons Celebrate Schools With Open Houses

The sky’s the limit with today’s students and with that in mind, Carroll ISD joins hundreds of school districts state wide in recognizing Celebrate Texas Public Schools Week, March 5-9, 2012.

The annual Texas Public Schools Week tradition started in 1950 to help raise awareness and support of the public school system. Celebrate Texas Public Schools Week is usually held the first week of March. Carroll ISD gave its K-6 campuses the option of hosting open houses and participating in various activities this week and the week following spring break.

The following is a list of upcoming CISD Open Houses:

• Rockenbaugh Elementary School: Tues. March 6 at 6 p.m.
• Old Union Elementary School: Thurs. March 8 at 5 p.m.
• Walnut Grove Elementary School: Thurs. March 8 at 5 p.m.
• Carroll Elementary School: Thurs. March 8 at 5:30 p.m.
• Johnson Elementary School: Tues. March 20 at 6 p.m.
• Durham Intermediate School: Wed. March 21 at 6 p.m.
• Eubanks Intermediate School: Wed. March 21 at 5:30 p.m.
