Red Flamed Reading Warriors Win EIS "Battle of the Books" Title

Eubanks Intermediate School librarian Lucy Drenka  hosted the annual “Battle of the Books” competition last week to a festive crowd in the cafeteria. In another entertaining competition highlighting outstanding readers, the Red Flamed Reading Warriors earned this year’s championship. The team captain was Amelia Rsuli and co-captain was Conner McTaggart and fellow team members included Clayton Webb, Paige Stevenson and Sydney Weill. Four sixth-grade teams battled one another game-show style with buzzers testing their reading comprehension of several books.
