Stars and Stripes Planning is Underway!

Mark your calendars!  Southlake Stars and Stripes is just around the corner and preparations are in full-swing for this year’s event.  Stars and Stripes will be held on Tuesday, July 3rd from 6:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m. in Southlake Town Square.   This Independence Day celebration has been a joint effort between the City of Southlake and Southlake Town Square for over ten years now, and each year the event brings more excitement.

As usual, families can look forward to the activities that have become  Stars and Stripes traditions.  The Southlake Community Band will kick off the evening with patriotic music in Family Park,  Uncle Sam will entertain the crowd with his stilt walking skills,  and we will celebrate our nations independence with a patriotic ceremony and fireworks show that you won’t want to miss.

There will be some new activities at Stars and Stripes this year as well.  From the new band line-up in Frank Cornish park to live Twitter contests, there will be something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

For a complete list of activities and event information,  please visit the event website at www.StarsandStripesSouthlake.com.

If you have questions, please contact the Community Services Department at (817) 748-8019.
We look forward to celebrating Independence Day with you!
