Carroll ISD High School Internship Accepting Applications

Carroll ISD students, grades 9- 12 who are interested in a year-round internship working with the Communications & Marketing Department and the Athletic Department of Carroll ISD may now apply for acceptance into the Communications, Marketing and Sports Information (CMSI) Internship for the 2012-2013 school year.

This is the third year for the internship which was modeled after a Sports Information program Carroll Athletic Director Kevin Ozee started for students in Duncanville. Because so many projects are jointly organized with the Communications & Marketing Department, the Dragon internships will involve work in both Carroll ISD departments.

Interested students must complete an application and return to the Carroll ISD Communications and Marketing Department located at the Carroll ISD Administration Center. Once accepted to the program, interns will meet once a month after school at the CISD Administration Center. Meetings cover a wide range of topics including, district and special event news coverage, guest speakers, officer elections and field trips. Students may apply at anytime throughout the year.
