Dragons Unleash Offense Against Timber Creek

The Carroll Dragons returned home for the first time in nearly a month and unleashed is trademark high-octane offense against Keller Timber Creek.

The Dragons (4-1, 2-0) rolled to a 65-7 victory at Dragon Stadium to remain undefeated in District 4-5A. Carroll held a 28-0 lead after the first quarter and led 49-0 by halftime. Carroll, which won its fourth straight game, scored its first TD on Kenny Hill’s 42-yard pass to Ryan Agnew and never let up. Hill finished 15-for-19 with 175 yards and three touchdowns. Running back A.J. Ezzard finished with 136 yards rushing on 15 carries and two touchdowns. Backup Joseph Formella had 97 yards.

Agnew, Luke Timian and Tanner Jacobson each caught touchdown passes. The Dragons’ defense produced another impressive performance holding Timber Creek (1-4, 1-1) to 184 total yards and forced two turnovers. Carroll has allowed 10 total points in its last four games since the season-opening loss to Allen. Meanwhile, the Dragons’ offense is averaging 55 points per game over the last four victories.

Carroll hosts Richland at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Dragon Stadium on Homecoming Night. This is the second of three consecutive district home games for the Dragons. Richland (2-3, 0-2)  is coming off a 49-6 loss to rival Haltom.
