Apex Arts League Rings In Festive Holiday Performance Season

Two exciting Holiday musical opportunities:

Nothing stirs the warmth and spirit of the Holiday Season like music, and Apex Arts League brings two exciting performances to the area.

First, Apex is proud to bring back the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Brass Ensemble for the now annual “Holiday Brass” concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake. This concert will be performed by a full brass choir, including trumpets, horns, trombones, tuba and percussion. The concert, under the direction of Fort Worth Symphony Associate Conductor Andres Franco, will feature a variety of festive music, including traditional Holiday melodies all played with the blend of virtuosity and brilliance that are unique to the brass sound.

Next, Apex presents Christmas with Schola Cantorum of Texas—Tarrant County’s premier concert choir with Jerry McCoy & Cari Earnhart – conductors. A perfect prelude to the Holiday Season is this delightful When We Were Young! program sung by The Schola Chambers Choir, and the Schola Cantorum of Texas. Enjoy song a singer and audience favorite drawn from forty-nine years of previous Christmas concerts. The performance is Sunday, December 9, 2012 – 7:30pm to 9:00pm White’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

Donations of $10 for adults and $5 for Apex members, seniors and students are appreciated.
