Dragon Java Returns to Carroll Middle

Students, faculty and staff can enjoy a warm beverage with the return of Dragon Java on campus. The shop serves coffee to teachers and parents and hot chocolate to the students. It’s been a few years since Dragon Java served the CMS community but the store re-opens on Friday Nov. 30 inside the gym concession stand.

Beverages will cost a $1.00 and marshmallows will cost an extra .25 cents. Life Skills students and Circle of Friends members will work behind the counter. Students will learn valuable employee skills, including running the cash register, serving etiquette, communication and money skills. The students will be in charge of washing and maintaining uniforms, following work schedule and completing time sheets.

The store makes a return to CMS through the help from the PTO which provided funding to purchase the initial shop supplies and materials. Shop hours are 8- 8:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
