Story Time with Carroll ISD Superintendent

The Southlake Public Library hosted a full house Wednesday morning Nov. 28. Carroll ISD Superintendent Dr. David Faltys was the guest reader during the library’s regularly scheduled “Toddler Time”.

Moms, babies and kids packed the reading area and listened as Faltys read two books aloud. One of the books, “Giant John” was a personal favorite- given to him by his mother. The other book “Click, Clack, Moo” was also a hit with the children as they engaged in a little audience participation.

Carroll ISD’s “Once Upon a Dragon” theme this year emphasis literacy with a fairy tale twist. All of the children received paper crowns to wear during reading time. The Carroll Dragon mascot, “Charlie” was also there to visit and dance with the children.

The slideshow below is just a few snapshots taken that morning.
