Local Radio Personality Joins Southlake for Home for the Holidays Celebration

KLTY’s Tony Lopez will take part in this year’s Home for the Holidays festivities.  The afternoon show host will represent KLTY as the Master of Ceremonies for the tree lighting in Town Square on November 17th.  Tony was born in the Chicago area and knew he wanted to be in the radio business by the age of 12. He has worked at many stations in the Chicago area as well as Austin and most recently, Dallas. He and his wife, Jennifer, have five children, Kaitlyn, Luke, Elena, Sophie, and Dominic. Tony will escort us through the evening’s entertainment and tell you how you can get involved with KLTY’s Christmas Wish Program.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with holiday crafts, balloon artists, strolling holiday characters, live entertainment and holiday refreshments. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. when Santa Claus and Mayor John Terrell light up the square. After the tree lighting, you can visit Santa’s Village for photos with Santa or take a carriage ride through Town Square to see the holiday lights and window displays.

Have you been dreaming of a white Christmas? Not only will it be snowing in Family Park during the event, but you and your family can race each other down the new 12 foot high 3-lane snow tubing hill! If you feel like getting creative, you can stop by the Snowman Mania booth and decorate your own snowman.

Please visit www.SouthlakeHomefortheHolidays.com to see all the event details including the entertainment schedule and parking information. Follow @SLH4H12 for all event updates! If you have any questions, please call (817) 748-8019.

We hope you and your family will join us as we ring in the holiday season!
