The DFW Connector has alerted the City of Southlake about a major traffic pattern change will take place starting on Friday night. From 8 p.m. on Friday, June 14 to 6 a.m. on Monday, June 17, DFW Connector crews will complete the following work:
Traffic Pattern Change: The westbound SH 114 at Texan Trail will go into its permanent traffic pattern. Click here for a visual of the traffic pattern change. The change will take place starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 14 to 6 a.m. on Monday, June 17.
Associated closures: Full highway closure on westbound SH 114/southbound SH 121 at Texan Trail (westbound SH 114 traffic will be detoured to the frontage road, southbound SH 121 traffic will be detoured to William D. Tate Avenue); full ramp closure southbound SH 121 on-ramp at Main Street (from 8 PM to 8 AM on Friday, 6/14, detour to William D. Tate Avenue).
Please be aware there will be a few changes after this traffic switch that drivers should be aware of, including:
For Southlake residents and workers, the biggest change will for those traveling on westbound SH 114 – they will need to stay in the right lanes to continue into the City. After Monday, the left lanes will no longer give drivers access to the City.
