Voter Information for May 2014 Election

VoteElection Day is May 10, 2014.  This is an opportunity for Southlake’s qualified, registered voters to vote for the purpose of electing persons to Places 1 and 6 on the City Council and school board trustees for the following districts: Keller ISD, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, and Northwest ISD.  The candidates in the Carroll ISD election were unopposed and therefore will not have an election.

There are four Southlake City Council Candidates running for office:

Place 1

  • Martin Schelling
  • Shahid Shafi

Place 6

  • Virginia M. Muzyka
  • Gary Fawks

Southlake voters must go to their county precinct polling location on Election Day. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Tarrant County Residents

  • Carroll Senior High School
  • 1501 West Southlake Boulevard (Intersection of Southlake Boulevard & Peytonville)
  • Southlake, Texas 76092

Denton County Residents

  • Trophy Club Svore Municipal Building
  • 100 Municipal Drive
  • Trophy Club, Texas 76262

In order to vote in the May 10, 2014 general election, a citizen must have registered to vote no later than April 10, 2014.  Voters are required to present an approved form of photo identification in order to vote in all Texas Elections.  Please click on appropriate links above to determine if you are registered to vote in your county.

Results will be available on the Denton and Tarrant County election websites after the polls close at 7:00 p.m.  Questions regarding  the May 10th election may be directed to the Southlake City Secretary’s office (817) 748-8016.
