Dragon 7-on-7 Team Falls in Consolation Bracket

COLLEGE STATION – The Carroll Dragons’ 7-on-7 team finished this year’s state tournament in the Consolation Bracket.

The Dragons, last year’s Division I champion, went 1-2 in pool and played in the Consolation Bracket. Carroll lost its pool play opener 33-27 to Channelview, defeated Wichita Falls 34-31 and lost to The Woodlands 41-39. Carroll was one of 64 teams competing for the title in Division I.

Carroll lost its opening game in the Consolation Bracket to Cy Falls 45-13. Cy Falls was the eventual Consolation champions and won five consecutive games and defeated College Station in the final 33-27. Katy Seven Lakes won the Championship Bracket 42-25 over Whitehouse.
