Carroll ISD is proud to announce the 10th anniversary of the Carroll Medical Academy. The Carroll Medical Academy was established in 2004 and since that time has grown from just a dozen students to a complete, application process with many CISD students vying for just fifty openings in the academy.

The Carroll Medical Academy is an advanced high school academic program for students who are interested in pursuing careers within the medical field. The program is designed for students in grades 9-12.

The Carroll Medical Academy will formally celebrate 10 years in CISD on Monday, Dec. 1 at the Carroll ISD Administration Center. During the regularly scheduled meeting of the Carroll ISD Trustees, members of CMA will conduct opening ceremonies. Current CMA officers will lead the School Board and attendees in the pledges and moment of silence, followed by a few remarks about the program and a special presentation by the district.  After the presentation, trustees will recess for a reception. Invited guests include parents, students, former students, sponsors, physicians and representatives of the Hudson Foundation – a non-profit that helped launch CMA ten years ago. The community is welcome to attend. The Board Meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. The CISD Administration Center is located at 2400 N. Carroll Avenue.
