District Hires New Director of Facilities

Bob Carabajal, Carroll ISD’s new Director of Facilities

Carroll ISD hired Bob Carabajal as its new Director of Facilities. Carabajal’s hiring was approved at Monday night’s School Board meeting.

Carabajal has more than 22 years of experience in the facility services industry. He has several years of experience in leadership roles as director of facility management and environmental services for multiple health care facilities, including UMC Health System in Lubbock and Denton Regional Medical Center. In those roles, he was responsible for for improving overall facility aesthetics and campuses for a safe, secure and clean environment. He also has experience with budgeting, loss prevention, customer relations and administrative leadership.

Carabajal joins Carroll ISD after working since 2011 at Jani-King International as Executive Director, Corporate Healthcare Services Division. He replaces Chauncey Willingham, who retired in December after serving the district for 40 years in multiple roles.
