Mini-Kickers for ages 4-5 begins April 27, 2015

Mini-Kickers

Little kids ages 4-5 learn the fundamentals of soccer in our Mini-Kickers program!

The City of Southlake Recreation is ready to introduce your children, ages 4-5, to soccer in a fun, friendly and safe environment at Mini-Kickers!

Practices will start Monday, April 27 and participants will meet every Monday and Wednesday at Durham Intermediate School until May 20. Mini-Kickers will introduce the basics of soccer like dribbling, passing and shooting by using creative and imaginative games. At each session children will increase their coordination and self-esteem by learning the foundations of soccer in a non-competitive environment. Teamwork, sportsmanship and overall FUN will be emphasized rather than direct competition. Parents, be sure to join us for the last day of the season as players will get the chance to show off their new skills in the Big Game.

Here is what one parent had to say about Southlake Parks and Recreation Mini-Sports programs, “Wonderful program! My son learned so much and had fun! Staff was so friendly and great with the kids. Thank you for a great program!”

Register today to reserve your child’s spot in a fun and safe soccer class! The fee is $45.00 which includes a jersey, trophy and a youth sized ball. You can register online or at the Community Services office located at 1400 Main St, Suite 210. For more information please contact (817) 748-8019.
