The City of Southlake will be hosting their annual Great American Cleanup workday [a local extension of Keep America Beautiful’s nationwide Great American Cleanup initiative] on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Liberty Gardens in Bicentennial Park.
The City is looking for volunteers to be a part of this community event and help cleanup the Liberty Garden to get it ready for the summer. All individuals, families, groups, organizations and businesses are welcome to participate. Check-in begins at 8:30 AM and the cleanup will be held from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. All cleanup supplies will be provided and lunch will also be provided for volunteers at 11:30 AM.
The Great American Cleanup is one of the nation’s largest community improvement initiatives, millions of volunteers come together annually for this event to cleanup and beautify their communities.
